The Black Mulberry opened its doors in June 2015 and since then has become a popular venue for locals and visitors alike. In 2017 we won the much coveted Cafe of The Year, voted for by readers of the local Advertiser Series newspaper. THE AWARD WAS RETAINED BY US IN 2018.
We aim to take the best of our local suppliers and their ingredients to bring great traditional British Classics to our tables as well as Specials and Homemade Cakes and other Bakes including our classic Yorkshire Rascal on a daily basis.
Open all year round, we have both indoor and outdoor seating. All our outdoor tables enjoy a south facing position overlooking the River Nidd for you to enjoy the sunny aspect all year round.
The team pride ourselves in our friendly atmosphere and along with our general customers we welcome cycling groups, with a dedicated cyclists menu, and your well behaved canine companions, with biscuits and sausages available & our doggy Rehydration Station at the door.
In addition to our day time fayre, we are open Friday Evenings offering a relaxed dining experience. With a twist on some of our classics, as well as a few other options it is the perfect place on a sunny summer evening to enjoy the beautiful river views.
