Easter in Knaresborough

The Easter holidays are almost here, and Knaresborough has some fun events taking place!

 

Mother Shipton’s Cave

This Easter there will be lots of fun at Mother Shiptons where an enchanting adventure awaits!


Hop on over to enjoy an interactive Easter event for all the family.  Follow the trail and help Little Bo Peep find her sheep, meet bunnies Betty and Clover and solve puzzles and clues for a chocolate treat. 


There is also the famous Petrifying Well and Mother Shipton’s Cave, plus an adventure playground, gift shop and museum and several scenic spots to enjoy alongside the beautiful River Nidd.

THE Great Knaresborough Bunny Hunt 2019

Last years Bunny Hunt became a firm favourite with both locals and tourists visiting the town and this Easter the bunnies are back!

From the 13th to the 28th April, the hunt is on to find 15 ceramic bunnies hiding in and around Knaresborough town.There’s a mini treat for every bunny hunter, plus entry into a draw to win one of three goody baskets full with treats from all the businesses involved! 

All proceeds from the Bunny Hunt go to two amazing charities -Henshaws Arts & Crafts Centre and the Harrogate & Knaresborough Toy Library.

Henshaws Arts and Crafts Centre

Henshaws have various crafts events on over the holidays, including an Easter Wreath making workshop on Sunday 31st March between 11am – 2pm.

The workshop is led by a tutor and includes a drink and a sweet treat as well as your wreath to take home.  Tickets are £18.

 

Also the Childrens Easter crafts from Monday 8th – Friday 12th April. It’s a drop in session of Easter crafts, colouring activities and chocolate treats at £2.50 per child.

Henshaws is a charity supporting people with sight loss and a range of disabilities to lead an independent and fulfilling life.
